Fellows’ Hands-on Lab | Tuesday, September 24 SOLD OUT

This course was designed by a team from AUGS and IUGA to provide fellows an opportunity to review pelvic
anatomy, learn new surgical techniques and enhance their surgical skills. Join us in the lab as you rotate
through various stations, working in small group settings with field experts to practice surgical procedures
and learn about diagnostic approaches and non-surgical alternatives. 

Note: Registration is capped at 60 participants and an additional registration fee required.

Group A - Cadaver Rotation:  Laparoscopic Anatomy Demonstration

  • Laparoscopic Anatomy Demonstration
  • Burch and retropubic space
  • Rectus fascial sling
  • Obturator Anatomy in Relationship to Sling (including sling passage)
  • Sphincteroplasty/Perineal sphincter anatomy
  • Ureteral injury and repair

 

Group B - Dry Lab

  • Mid-Urethral Sling Placement
  • Ureteral Stents & Retrograde Images
  • Urethral Bulking Injections
  • Sacral Neuromodulation Sacral Needle Placement
  • Pelvic Model for SSLF
  • Pelvic Clay Model
  • Colpocleisis
